Circular watercolour of flowers on paper intended as a watch paper. Two stems with green stems and shades of pink and blue flowers. They are in a trough shaped vase. There is a circular outer border with a continuous leaf pattern in green on its inside edge and a scallop and dot pattern in brown on its outside edge. There appears to have been a glaze of sorts applied to the painting lines which in time has crackled giving a sparkle effect. Painted by reformed Liverpool prostitute Elizabeth Kenning, with her mouth, for the benefit of the Liverpool Female Penitentiary.
